I have a friend that is 78 years old and is fixing to have double knee
replacements.  I have never heard of doing both at one time, but the
doctor told her that both knees were so bad that they would not
support her to do one at a time.  Has anyone ever heard of this, seen

Gold allergy28 Sep 2004 02:06 GMT7
Last year I started having gold injections. They had to be stopped in the
autumn because my blood tests were showing indications of gold toxicity.
After that I developed an eczema like skin rash between my ring finger and the
next one. (I was wearing a 9ct gold wedding ring). It ...

OTP  Thanks for absentee ballot discussion28 Sep 2004 00:56 GMT2
Thanks to all the info about absentee ballots.  I used the URL someone gave
and read all about Alabama's rules.  It said if I am ill and can't get to
the polling place, I could use it.  I called today and told them I had heart
disease and lung disease, plus a bad hip so that I would ...

they really accomplish anything.
Thanks.

Painful leg and knee27 Sep 2004 21:22 GMT10
I would surely appreciate some wise person who has some suggestions for a very
painful shin bone below the knee, of course that is where it is!.  I had 17
surgeries on a knee that the cap, which was removed, was fractured in a fall 4
years ago and I have never been pain free.  I try ...

netted the usual garbage: clothing, beer bottles and rusty nails.
OTP nostalgia27 Sep 2004 19:00 GMT4
Not the normal sort of nostalgia post though.  Isn't it funny how a taste of
something can transport you right back to a time and/or place?
We had a curry tonight, and I had a lager and lime with it.  I've drunk
lager occasionally, but haven't had lager and lime in decades.  It ...

your address and I will get them sent to you.
BTW You can plant these and grow your own buckeye tree.  They are the
seeds/nuts of the tree.
Help with cortisone shot27 Sep 2004 09:39 GMT8
Just a quick request for help.  I just had a cortisone shot in the plantar
fascia area and forgot to get instructions on what to do with it now (the
pain was so bad that breathing was high on my list of things to do after -
not listening to instructions).  Can't remember - ice, no ...
