i finally saw "my" hip doctor - the one i love - he concurs with the idiot (at least for now) no surgery, but he is concerned about the pain i am in & what we can do during the wait time. he has decided on nerve blocks for the pain - he didn't give me too many details on nerve

Just returned from urologist's office. New x-rays showed no change. Went for an ultrasound. I have a follow-up appointment in six months. The doc said if it isn't broken, don't bother it! I agree. No pain, no problems, so just carry on. I've got pain meds just in case....hope ...

Well, I finally got some power back--we are okay--some minor damage to the roof which is now fixed and other odd assorted things like trees down and such--but nothing that is earthstopping. My garden needs much assistance as many plants and trees were pruned by Frances....
