Simon and Gafunkel21 Jul 2004 19:42 GMT8
Well, old fogie as I am, yesterday I was in Dublin to see
Simon and Garfunkel's concert at the RDS Showground. More
from nostalgia than current musical interest (I liked them
most when I was in my teens...) but they were much, much
Hip bone connects to the ...21 Jul 2004 15:36 GMT3
Okay, so my left hip has been going through a bad patch. But
after a couple of weeks of serious hobbling, the pain has
now taken a hike down to my knee. There seems to be a little
swelling above the knee itself, and while not agonising,

Hey ya'll I have found something pretty cool to play online. I have been

yucky. They have several other games like cards and stuff. Here is the
website. It is free. They have pay for games but I play the ...

Card from Squirrely Jo21 Jul 2004 13:50 GMT2
I did receive your card SJ. I have not been to the post office since I
moved here, because of the music Festival. During that week, the town
population  increases 300% so it is best to avoid going downtown. The
card was forwarded on from my old address.
OT Prayers needed21 Jul 2004 13:45 GMT8
The father of my children (my ex) is having a triple by-pass in Denver
today. Everyone is scared because nothing serious has ever happened in our
family. This guy is a good person (the best ex I ever had, lol) and has been
a good father. If you are so inclined, please send off a ...
Road Runner No Posts21 Jul 2004 11:55 GMT3
Here in the Central Florida area apparently there is a problem with access to
the newsgroups in Road Runner. I'm told they are working on it. This happened
for me yesterday morning and still has yet to be resolved. Even though I
haven't been posting much lately, I still miss my ...
Mom's PICC Line21 Jul 2004 08:58 GMT11
Tonight the nursing home called and told me Mom's 8 day old PICC line wasn't
flushing. They called in a special IV nurse and she couldn't get it to work
either. Then she TOOK IT OUT!! and tried to start another midline.
Apparently Mom's vein rolled and besides hurting her a lot, ...
Trying to catch up21 Jul 2004 08:56 GMT3
I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but my 85 year old mother is here
in Phoenix with us until 8/8.  She has deteriorated badly since we saw her last
November and instead of being able to do things with her, I have turned into a
full time caretaker.  I don't begrudge her ...
OT Prayers Needed Update21 Jul 2004 01:11 GMT4
Wally has weathered the operation, and although he is uncomfortable (lol
hospital talk for pain) the triple bypass surgery went well. I know it is
because of all the prayers that were sent to God for him. My one 22 y/o son
was there with him and the responsibility of being the child ...
woke up this morning.... Rant20 Jul 2004 23:52 GMT17
Warning this is a rant...
Woke up this morning with such a feeling to get things done. I was able to
eat breakfast, walk outside to water my flowers. Felling pretty good I ask
my teenage boys to mow and trim the yard while I work in the kitchen. I did

Today is day 8 of the pain patch, duragesic 25 mcg/hr and let me tell
