I had mono last year (I had it as a teenager as well), and since then I have
never felt right.  My eyes act so weird I cannot wear my contact lenses
(though all the eye doctors I have been to have said they can't see anything
specifc, maybe allergies, maybe dry eye-and they do seem ...

Hello all...who remember me.  It's been a year or more since I stopped in

Just got back from a visit with my ophthalmologist.  Because my eyes seemed
very dry, he suggested that I might have Sjogren's Syndrome.  He asked if my
mouth was dry; it usually is.  I had heard of Sjogren's before, probably here
in this NG or perhaps in my readings on thyroid ...

I am having knee arthroscopy tomorrow. i had been have terrible pain
going up and down steps. Sometimes I wouldnt have the pain going up,
but would have it going down. I had synvisc injections 3 times but it
didnt seem to help. I cant think of any other way to improve or stop

Well my rd doc called today, and said that I need to go off the folic acid,
it has flared up my interstitial cystitis so bad that I may have to go back
and get DMSO in cathiders again, (YUCK) but it possibly could be the MTX,
the doc isn't sure she told me to not take the folic acid ...
