Well, saw the orthopedic doctor and my RD today about the elbow/arm/hand situation. The pain has continued and actually gotten some worse. Their collective diagnosis' is that yes, I have arthritis in my elbow! And I pay the big bucks for these types of diagnosis'

a friend is visiting and her husband, 51, has problems with his hip due to a problem from childhood. docs have told him he shouldn't have it replaced yet because the new hips only last 7 years. is this accurate?? meanwhile, he's in increasing pain.

I finally got a job as a psychiatric nurse practitioner- with the VA so I get to keep my federal retirement and benefits. The only down side is a lot of travel especially in the beginning. Travel in the midwest in the winter....yall had better pray for me

I'll be checking in thru Tuesday. Surgery is Wednesday. Prayers and good wishes are appreciated. Trying to get all the laundry done and freeze a whole bunch of meat in smaller portions so Doug can just throw things on the grill.
