Ear pain15 Jul 2004 20:55 GMT4
I have just spent some time searching the newsgroup archives, and elsewhere
on the internet, to try to figure out what's going on here. I couldn't find
anything that sounded quite right, though I *suspect* it's TMJ... but
figured I'd ask you guys about this.

rash on foot-athletes foot?15 Jul 2004 17:18 GMT1
I started getting a rash on my feet a couple of years ago when I started
methotrexate.  I went to my primary care doctor and she told me it was
Athletes Foot and to use Lamisil on it.  While I was off of methotrexate for
several months, it seemed to go away.  Now that I have been ...
Laughter is a healer15 Jul 2004 17:14 GMT9
Thought I should share a little trick with the group.... Whenever you're
having a bad day, stick on some comedy in the evening - videos, DVDs, you
can even get tapes and CDs of stand-up acts (try amazon.co.uk?). Eddie
Izzard, Ross Noble, Eddie Murphy, Bill Bailey, Greg Proops.... ...
putting moisturizing lotion on scar15 Jul 2004 15:54 GMT14
It has been two weeks today since my elbow surgery and I'm feeling better
each day.  When I saw the Dr. and he took the cast off, he said to put
moisturizing lotion on the scar.  Have any of you used lotion for a scar,
and if so, what kind?  I have been using the moisturizer that I ...
Atlantoaxial Subluxation & neck surgery with R/A15 Jul 2004 15:49 GMT3
My best friend who has had severe R/A for 20+ years has been diagnosed
with AAI. Both her R/A doc and neurosurgeon are strongly recommending
fusion of C1-C2. She's not in pain right now. She does have numbness
in her feet and legs from this. She doesn't want to go forward with
Hard to run the vaccuum15 Jul 2004 12:01 GMT9
Hi there. Can anyone recommend a good self-propelled vaccuum cleaner?
Mine's just getting too hard to push these days. It would also be good
if the controls are up in the handle and not down low. I don't want to
have to bend too much. And it'd be nice if it's very light. Thanks ...
JRA15 Jul 2004 00:00 GMT4
A friend of my nephew, who is 12, has just been diagnosed with JRA.  My nephew
is asking my sister-in-law a lot of questions.  I was wondering if there was a
website out there that helps educate children about JRA.  My nephew gets scared
easily by these things, so I need something ...

Glucosamine products and allergic reactions13 Jul 2004 21:47 GMT2
I have been using glucosamine products for several years and they
definitely eliminate my arthritis symptoms effectively.
However, after about a year of taking Osteo-Biflex, I began to develop
asthma-like bronchial spasms and heart pounding that were traced back
