Simple things can be so healing08 Jun 2004 00:18 GMT12
I've had a bad winter and until today was feeling pretty stressed.  In
November I had a car accident which messed up my right arm for a few months.
In March I had a fall which resulted in multiple fractures in my ankle, and
the acquisition of some new hardware to patch it back up.  ...
Methotrexate Experience08 Jun 2004 00:02 GMT10
Hi gang.  You probably don't remember me.  I am Bob and introduced myself
about a month ago.  I have been just waiting to see if my weekly
methotrexate injections kick in.  I have been injecting it for four weeks
now.  I do notice a fairly significant reduction in overall pain.  ...

MRI Results 07 Jun 2004 23:32 GMT22
With as much pain as I've been in with my back the past three weeks, I was
prepared for something really scary to be wrong with my back when I got the
MRI results. The report, which covers a three hour MRI of the Thoracic and
Lumbar Spine, with and without contrast is five, count ...

What type of Arthritis?07 Jun 2004 23:22 GMT31
Hello everyone on ASA.  Rosie suggested I pop back over here and spend more
time with you.  It seems I'm always over on AMF, which is my home base ;-)
Anyhow, I'm having some serious inflammation problems, and I was originally
diagnosed with OA (with inflammation), but there have ...
humira to enbrel to chance 07 Jun 2004 23:15 GMT48
So the seasaon is in full swing and I believe in the magic of baseball and I am
hoping for a double play combo worthy of tinkers and evers (no I am not stoned,
just a baseball fanatic) and chance.... If anyone has a clue about the above
reference I will take you to a game of your ...
Poll on Physician Advertising Ethics07 Jun 2004 20:57 GMT2
Suppose a doctor has an idea to use an already FDA approved drug for a
novel off-label use based on a few rat studies. Without any human
studies at all, he obtains a "single use patent" through the US patent
office for say, all cardiac diseases for a drug which is FDA approved
OTP: D Day Commemorations07 Jun 2004 19:20 GMT5
D Day was 60 years ago today. Please take a moment to think about all
who fought and died at this turning point in WW2, whatever side they
were on. This is likely to be the last 'big' commemoration as the
veterans who survived are now in their 80's and 90's*. We must remember
Ping Kate07 Jun 2004 19:05 GMT1
Kate,
I am at Megan's  using her computer which leaves me without my file cabinet and
my address book.  I will be home tonight or tomorrow morning and will e-mail
you then.
OTP Surgery coming up07 Jun 2004 15:47 GMT16
On June 8, I will be having surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, left
shoulder.  Right shoulder was done several years ago in Florida.  Think
this one will be easier because at that time I also ruptured the bicep
tendon.  Don't have that now.  Prayers appreciated.
st johns wort 07 Jun 2004 15:42 GMT14
Is this real?   I have taken this now for 3 days.  I am a nervous wreck
More like an overall sadness and the worst is the anxiety.  But by mid-day
the anxiety is gone and I think about what is going on but don't get so
overwhelmed by it.  Does it work  in 3 days?
Donna update07 Jun 2004 14:55 GMT14
Just talked to Nick and have a Donna update.
She had a four hour surgery where the knee had to be completely replaced.  It
went well but there was a lot of detached material just floating around.  She
is in a lot of pain and starts PT today but they do think it was a successful

Until I get Outlook Express working again (I'll let you know when I
