Serious question here from someone with ankylosing spond (plus a few more
arthur things)along with the need to wear bifocals.....

Humira and injection site reactions09 Jun 2004 16:36 GMT6
Anyone had that? Did you get them from the start or did they come after a
few injections? My first four injections were fine, but shortly after the
fifth one, I got an itchy red bump on my leg. Doesn't bother me, but I think
it's weird that it appears now. I think I had an ISR once ...
Evista and Breast cancer - great news09 Jun 2004 13:38 GMT3
Wow very promising in a large study!
NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - Doctors presented more evidence on Sunday to
show that Evista, a drug used to prevent bone thinning (that is,
osteoporosis), can also prevent breast cancer in some women.
Prayers, vibes, spells for Donnah09 Jun 2004 07:10 GMT9
Donna's surgery is today. Might be over by now. Just wanted to send tons of
prayers and positive healing vibes her way. Hoping surgery was successful and
her recovery is easy and painless. Praying that her pain goes away and she's
much better than she was before surgery.
O.T. Another dog story09 Jun 2004 03:05 GMT28
This did not happen to me but I heard it on the radio this morning. A letter
carrier in Chatham, Ontario was attacked by two dogs when she was delivering
mail yesterday. It was her regular route, I gather. She walked up the steps of
the porch and two dogs rushed out at her through ...

I am going back to school this morning, even though my stomach feels a
little dodgy from the antibiotics. Hopefully this will pass.
There are only three more weeks of school. Somehow this year has been
a difficult one for me because of the DVT in January, numerous
Another Report on Donnah08 Jun 2004 04:32 GMT12
Just talked to Donnah a few minutes ago and she was in good spirits.
Says she is doing much better.  The doctor told her that from the time
he opened the knee until he finished that it was five hours, and when
he opened the knee the kneecap fell into his hand.  He could not
Am feeling better08 Jun 2004 01:14 GMT15
Well the IV antibiotics must be helping as I feel better. I feel a bit
perkier today, like I don't have to go back to sleep after coming back
from my lastest treatment. I have slept most of the last two days
away. Even the evil  foot thing feels better, although the redness is
Report from doctor visit--08 Jun 2004 00:44 GMT46
Well, the good news is the UA they ran, came back normal.  The bad news is--the
UA they ran, came back normal.  It will be after the weekend before we have any
word on the cultures.  But unless they grow some creepy crawly, we are not sure
what we are going to do.
Where's the return line?08 Jun 2004 00:42 GMT39
OK, it's just tempory but I would like to return it anyway.  RD's office called
today, I tested positive for shingles.  I don't really have a rash yet, just
some red spots and an annoying tingling so at least he caught it early before I
broke out.  Still getting over the bronchitis, ...
Rosie S. mainly08 Jun 2004 00:38 GMT16
I know that sounds like a stupid subject, but I need to reach Rosie and I
know she checks in here and over on AMF.  Any other feedback, however, will
be welcome.
Rosie, you know the problems I've been having with inflammation and the
