Thanks, Secret Sender!11 Apr 2004 03:41 GMT3
Well, I tried.  I stood on my head and squinted, and assumed that you
didn't want me to recognize your signature on the card.  <G>  If I'm
wrong, sorry!  Couldn't quite read your writing!
I did recognize the postmark, though.  And the chocolate covered chips
Injury to a nerve!11 Apr 2004 01:07 GMT8
Am wondering if any of you have ever had an injury to a nerve that
eventually got better?
Back in the beginning of march, I slipped and fell on the ice and took a
really bad fall.   I took most of the brunt of the fall on the knee that
"Chilled to the Bone"11 Apr 2004 00:54 GMT32
I was diagnosed a year or so ago (started having symptoms 2-3 years ago) with
osteoarthritis in my knees & back.  Is the joint feeling "chilled to the bone"
a symptom?  I can be perfectly comfortable, temperature-wise, all over my body,
but my knees feel like they have ice cubes in ...
OTP      not a nice story but its funny10 Apr 2004 20:13 GMT1
As he is quietly watching television at home, a man hears a sound on
the roof of his house and rushes out to investigate. Seeing it is a
fair-sized gorilla tearing the shingles off his home, he promptly calls up
the local zoo autorities to inform them one of their animals had

Glucosamine: 1500mg once a day vs. 500mg three times a day?10 Apr 2004 17:36 GMT1
Does anybody have any information regarding the body's ability to
process 1500mg of Glucosamine in one tablet, as oppossed to 500mg
tablets taken three times daily?  I know with Vitamin C, the body can
only process so much and then urinates out the rest of it.  Does this
Is the Dr right?10 Apr 2004 09:33 GMT15
As usual, I'm a new one in the group, and am going on 15 years of RA. I saw
a new Rheummy last week, and he wants me to get off Predesone and
anti-inflammatories, and just take MTX. His nurse called about my blood test
results and it appears that my creatine level is a little high, ...

Hi all - Just wanted to update you on what's been going on the past few

with Mom and all the past two weeks. My sister came and helped for a week.
It was nice to have her here to help. I slept for two days ...

OTP   Because I'm a Man10 Apr 2004 05:13 GMT14
( Remember This is just Tongue in Cheek and not the way "REAL"

Because I'm a man, when I lock my keys in the car I will fiddle with a wire
clothes hanger and ignore your suggestions that we call a road service

Nerve Block10 Apr 2004 04:55 GMT17
I had my "selective nerve block" yesterday. Everything went fine. My leg is
still a bit numb, but otherwise I am fine. I guess I'll know in a couple days
if I get any benefit from the first one. The next one is scheduled for May 5.
