Hello:  I'm wondering if any of you have heard of this weird hip pain I
have.
I get stinging, deep pain in both hips, but only when I'm lying in bed.
All night it's so bad it wakes me up. I'm exhausted!  This has gone on,

Vioxx Side Effects31 Mar 2004 19:38 GMT5
I have RA and have been on Vioxx for years.  Vioxx has helped me out even with
severe joint pain, however I am concerned about the side effects.  Attached is
a vioxx web site and a list of side effects; I am wondering what others on
Vioxx have experienced.

I want to thank you for all the helpful answers to my query of yesterday
about nighttime hip pain.
Today I saw the doctor, and after putting her finger RIGHT on the
painful place, she said it was definitely bursitis; she actually has the

I'm reading along, but since I'm still posting with 2 fingers, haven't been
saying much.  This past week has been good, with relatively little pain.  The
cast comes comes off next Monday - can we say counting the days?  The pin will
come out, as well as whatever stitches are left ...

I don't know how many of members of this ng knew of, or listened to,
Alistair Cooke's Letter from America, but for most of my adult life I
have enjoyed and been enlightened by his weekly Sunday morning
broadcast on the BBC.

Tomorrow I'm going to the hospital for my first shot of Humira. It better
work, because I'm not doing well. My new RD already has an AS patient on it,
who's in complete remission despite that Remicade and Enbrel didn't work out
for him (just like in my case). Hopefully I'll get good ...
