Somebody posted here that taking care of a loved one is heroic.   Absolutely
it is.   Anyone who has ever done it is a hero (or heroine) in my book.
It is the most difficult, but the kindest thing anyone can do.

Was to see Mom yesterday.  She didn't say Hi to me, only asked where my DH

I am caring for a family member with Alzheimers, and she is on both
Paxil and Ambien. Now I find out that BOTH of these medications have
known side effects of memory loss?

I am looking for an Alzheimer's support group that deals with patients that
have Alzheimer's.  I was diagnosed 2 years ago but the medicine that I take
has kept me in line.

When we lose a loved one, there is usually some sense of loss and grief.
Everyone handles it differently, and for some the pain can linger a very
long time.    They often feel there is no place they can share what they are
feeling, and that they can't express it properly.
