As you know, I posted that Mom had passed.
I'm having a difficult time sleeping at night because I'm questioning if
I did the right thing.
When Mom was taken to Hospice on a Wednesday evening she was awake.

Mother passed away on Friday, September 11.
While I will miss her very much, a burden has been lifted from my

ago but wasn't treated very kindly. I think Evelyn suggested to him that he
might not have dementia at all. Cruel. He has younger onset dementia and is

Mom has changed considerably within the last week.  I'm going to talk to
her doctor tomorrow to see about getting her re-admitted to Hospice.
All of a sudden she cannot walk with her walker.  She "utters" garbled

My wife is in Stage 5 Alzheimers using the Alzheimers Assosciation
guidelines.  Recently, she has developed a problem swallowing pills, and
since she's on 4 prescription meds daily, this is getting to be a real
problem.  She'll put a pill in her mouth, take a mouthful of liquid, ...

My former sister in law was injured in a car accident 20 years ago
that left her with a head trauma and a coma for four days.
She completely recovered and went on to be a top sales agent for

I've been dealing with the Dementia for a year and a half.  My patience
is worn thin by the anger I feel inside.  I don't know how to gain
control.
I have the book "36 Hours" - recommended by this group some time ago.
