My Dad is 94. His short term memory is very bad. He knows who I am and
is very happy with life and can hold a conversation of sorts. He asks
the same questions over and again but if we get him on the right
subject he's fine. Yesterday I asked him about life in the Depression.

Wife has been diagnosed for 1 and 1/2 years now with ALZ.  She is still
perfectly functional but her memory is bad and she can not follow
directions such as recipes.  As time goes on I am wondering if the fact

As a sometime poster and often times reader of this group for about 3 years
I thought I'd write to tell of Daddy's passing on November 4th. He had some
dementia although it was never positively diagnosed as AD. In the end it was
congestive heart failure, a poor quality of life ...
