Well, my Great Aunt called late yesterday and angrily said that her bank
had just called and told her that my husband had been taking money out of
her bank account. She wouldn't give any details and just kept shouting that

   Haven't posted in a long while.Mom is still doing pretty good.I
had 2 heart attacks in 2 days.Small ones but still had to have a stent
put in.I consider it all a blessing.I have quit smoking,lost 15 lbs
and working hard at changing my lifestyle in the eating department.I

I have been worrying about my Mom for some time, but recently her cognitive
decline seems to have accelerated.  We had some family stress (death in the
family), she ended up in the ER with near fainting, came & stayed with me
for a couple weeks.

well yesterday I went to see mom for the first time in 9 days and I was
scared. But thank GOD<  mom seemed okay look so thin and depressed but
was glad to see me. I think she has finally come down to the acceptance

as soon as i got mom in assist living I went to the doc and found out I
had bronchitis, then to top matters off my blood pressure kept raising
and rising to where it was almost stroke level, I do not know what
brought it up to 220 over 108 I got scared and went back to the doc

I took a day off from going to see mom, I went to the show and saw
hairspray but my mind was still on mom. I wish I could shake this guilty
feeling off. I have to stop thinking about it as my blood pressure is

My mom has Alzheimer and is on a wait list as level 2 (there are 3
priority levels assigned by the CCAC - 1 being used for emergency
placements which includes people coming out of hospitals). For two
months, she has been 1st on the list of one of the 3 LTCFs selected by

Just wanted you to know  I read all of your posts and it was a real
