Thanks to all who responded to my earlier post. Your responses were
helpful and it is also encouraging to know that others have struggled
(and continue to struggle) with these same issues. Early this week,
things with my dad took a decided turn for the worse. He seemed to

Mom had a stroke 3 1/2 yearts ago advancing her alzheimers a lot.
She is home and in a wheel chair as she is paralyzed on her left side.

I am very concerned about my mother. She will be 70 this year. Last fall we
began to be concerned about memory loss. This winter we lost my Dad
suddenly. Now my mother is alone, although I live a few miles away ...
