It's Been a Long Trip27 Feb 2006 12:41 GMT6
Years ago, I consulted a Jungian therapist after a  painful divorce (
they are all painful but this one was especially tough). I had been
referred to her by the Tavistock clinic in London where I was living at
the time. The therapist, an Austrian woman, had lived in Vienna most of

Statins?26 Feb 2006 10:04 GMT10
Did anyone see the report this week that the regular taking of statins (to
lower cholesterol) may also mitigate against Az? As I've been told I may
need to take them, I plan to go for that for sure now once I have further
checked up.
MAM26 Feb 2006 02:07 GMT13
I finally lost my mam last week. I was called the tuesday before last to go
home. I drove all through the night to get home and my sister flew in from
Ireland. We were at her bedside when she died.  It was so difficult to see
her take her last breath. She had been in terrible pain ...

Back to the Original Topic: Flurizan Trial24 Feb 2006 04:19 GMT12
I've been corresponding with the doctor who wants my wife to join the
Flurizan Phase III trials and I'd like an opinion on something he's told
me.  I originally mentioned to this group that one of the biggest concerns
we had was that my wife would have to come off of Aricept in ...
Family24 Feb 2006 00:27 GMT3
Hi all...I was just thinking about an older brother that lives 50 miles away
who is retired and does not make an effort to see his mother.   My oldest
brother, my daughter and her family and I are the only family members that
see her these days.   Mom moved into an assisted ...
Opinions on Joing This Clinical Trial?23 Feb 2006 07:28 GMT18
My wife, 58 years old, was diagnosed in December with early onset AD.  Her
neurologist immediately put her on 5mg daily of Aricept and then recently
increased the dose to 10mg daily.  Aside from a frighteningly poor short
term memory, she is only very minorly impaired at this ...
entorhinal cortex22 Feb 2006 10:48 GMT2
Has somebody read any articles about the relationship between damage of
the entorhinal cortex and Alzheimer's disease? I'm trying to work on
that topic and find it very difficult to find/get informations.
Thanks!
