Dad called tonight. He announced he has made arrangements to get to the
surgeon on Wednesday without my help and will take my mom to her doctor's
appointment on Thursday. Sum total of conversation. Obviously he no longer

A first time newsgroup user here.
My Mom has been on Aricept for approximately two years now, and although it
did originally seem to slow down the progression of her dementia, it does

I've been quiet recently because my dad went back in hospital last Thursday.
His pacemaker was infected, so it had to be removed (friday) and new one put
in (yesterday) in new location, plus lots of antibiotics, dressing changes,
close monitoring of blood sugar (diabetic), etc. ...
