Florence mentioned sharing "nurse" things, and I have been thinking about this subject but not adding a lot because I was in a challenging course and really busy. I have a break right now and thought I would share what we are doing.

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Nothing  wrong.!!!25 Aug 2005 13:26 GMT8
I spoke with my brother a short while ago.
We are pretty close & can speak easily with each other.
A few months ago, his children started after him about their mother, his
wife, & her memory.
Support Meeting24 Aug 2005 16:10 GMT9
I am going to my first meeting on Thursday.  What can I expect?  I
received an email from the moderator?  group leader?  telling me there
would be no guest speaker.  Will it be lots of sad stories and crying?
Will it be so depressing that I will not want to attend future
Poor memory - possible causes?24 Aug 2005 01:38 GMT7
I am concerned about my own memory, which plays tricks on me quite often. I
am a male, 37yo and I consider I have a very poor memory. I can't remember
names of famous Hollywood actors, whose movies I've seen many times (like
Mel Gibson, George Clooney, and the heaps of them - ...

Although I didn't post here often, I used the archives and read many

Thanks to the group21 Aug 2005 20:29 GMT1
I would like to thank everyone for this support group.  When I was lost
or going out of my mind dealing with my Mom I would bring this group up
and read all most all the postings and I found out I was not alone.
Thanks to everyone.  I hope I will never have to come back here, but
guilt21 Aug 2005 07:12 GMT28
I think the main problem is that my family is not united about Mom.  My
brother told me she is driving just fine and what am I talking about.  He
also said her decline is just natural with aging.  I have more than one
brother who refuses to see that she is getting worse.  I fear ...
Trouble with mom20 Aug 2005 00:12 GMT15
I still have some problems with my mom, who was diagnosed with early- to
mid-stage Alzheimer's.  Every so often she says she sees someone coming up
to our front door where, when I check, nobody's there.  If I tell her that
nobody's there, she gets angry and won't calm down until I ...
driving19 Aug 2005 04:21 GMT6
Thanks for our comments everyone.  I know I should be working on having my
Mom's license taken away.  I know it, really I do. I was just over visiting
her for a week.  I went for a drive with her - a short one, and no, I did
not wear a helmet, although I was tempted.  She drove too ...
