In Jan my MIL with dementia had minor wrist surgery after which she pushed

to prevent her messing with the area where he did the surgery. The cast was
a whole new mess that lasted for months, 24 hrs a day- ...

Dear Friends--
Posting and reading posts over the years have helped so much with the
anger, sometimes the hopelessness, the decisions and all the things that
come to a caretaker over time.

some reason no one came from the home health place today to stay with
Mother's Day17 May 2005 04:31 GMT23
First off, happy Mother's Day to all of you out there!
Today the vet and I agreed to put my 9yo shiba inu (a Japanese dog) to
sleep. Sandy and Kahlua, a 9yo chocolate lab, are like my kids, never having
had any of the 2-legged variety. Sandy had a hypothyroid problem, which may

name,so I just call her Cat. A very pretty long haired black and white
cat and a rather strange thing about her is that she's never had babies
