I thought it might be time to mention a bit about Ida for those who have
been following our story.   Strangely enough they stopped the pain meds they
started a while ago, because she hasn't been in pain, fortunately.
But she is beginning to turn a bit yellow again, and her abdomen ...

My father (who lives in the UK) has had AD for about 3 years and has
recently started taking the anti-psychotic Seroquel (active ingredient

My mom got mad at me while ago cause she asked me if I thought I was
younger than her....I got silent and didnt say anything....this is
something new altogether and it took me aback so I quietly said well

We got to try out Mom's new bathtub chair today and it worked great! :-)
She's had another one through home health care for sometime now. It sat
completely in the tub and I or a lady from home health care or the both
of us would have to help Mom as she got in the bathtub and sat ...

Just checkin in...havent read posts yet but I will...I am doing
okay...mom and dad are well physically...I hate to say it but I have had
to leave mom to her own devices til it gets to the point she cant take
care of herself anymore...in the state I live in no help is availiable

The lady who stays with Mom 16 hours a week,Monday through Thursday,will
not be here today as it's Friday. And as much as I appreciate her coming
and the help we get,still it is sort of nice to be on our own today! LoL
One reason for that is that much of the time I think I have to ...
