I am new to this group, but have been lurking now and then since my husband was diagnosed last June. I will soon be making a long trip with my husband by car and I am worried about it because when he is under stress things get much worse.

Thanks so much for your reply and advice on travelling with my husband. This is a wonderful and needed group. No one would think so until their own family member was diagnosed with alzheimers and then a new world opens..........a vey sad one.

I want with all my heart to bring Mother to my home from a nursing home where my sibling has admitted her too. They are totally against my doing this!! I am a retired 62 yr old LPN and I have a very supportive husband & children. How often do family members care for family members
