I am thinking we will see what it does. One of the listed side effects is incontinence and frequency. Any input on that? Mom still makes the bathroom a lot of the time.
When do you that have experience give this drug, and why? I hesitate to start at bedtime in case there might be ...

I am sure that this has been discussed here before, but does anyone know a trick to keep the incontinent drawers on a woman who gets up at night and hides them in the back of her closet?

We have a new doctor. Don't know if you guys remember me, but I am a nurse caregiver for Mom who has dementia, probably Alzheimer's.
The new doc wants us to try Cerefolin and then later 5 mg of Aricept. Any comments?
Mom has gotten very agitated at night now, and gets up and down ...

Just a note to let you know that the outpatient surgery on my left rotator
cuff went well yesterday.  Indeed, the cuff was completely torn (this was
the same one that was repaired last June!)  The dr had to put anchors and
screws in to hold things together.  I am relatively pain ...

I have just returned from visiting with my mother at her Alzheimer's ALF.
The staff tells me she has started being combative (hitting at them and
pinching) when they are getting her dressed.  I was there last Tuesday when
she was having her hair done,  she wailed the whole time ...

I just wanted to say that i hope the new year brings happiness peace and
prosperity to all of you and to your loved ones.
I will be going back into the hospital on Monday to have the 4 metal rods
removed from my shoulder.   I am looking forward to that as another step
