After our crazy phone call in the middle of the night from the nursing home
the other night, things have been peaceful.  Ida is calm and apparently not
in any pain (thank goodness!).   Tonight Peter went to visit her just around

Those of you who know me know that I have been trying to keep my
mother safe at home as long as she could stay there, but that
last month we had to move her to an assisted living group home.

You guys are great, so I thought I'd throw this out there.  My Mom is
82, and seems to be advanced a little in Alzheimer's (or LBD) after
knee surgery.  I think she is getting back to "normal" but still has

I posted here awhile back about my parents who both were suffering from
alcohol dementia.
Since then alot has happened.  In early Aiug my dad collapsed and was
rushed to the hospital and was in ICU for about a week.  His blood
