ABC nightly news had a piece on a new drug under study for the treatment of Alzheimer's. It effects the bodies production of the damaging brain protein which they believe leads to ALZ. Does anyone know anything about it and what its name is?

Anyone have dosage info about clioquinol as a possible drug for dissolving the copper and zinc left in amyloid deposits without causing toxicity ? tests on mice seem pretty conclusive but no-one is saying
