| Namenda--How long before you know if it helps? | 13 Mar 2004 20:26 GMT | 3 |
I was just wondering how long you have to give this drug to see if it will have any effect. For those of you who have seen good results, how long was the person on it for before these results could be seen?

| Where Do I Start - - or End | 10 Mar 2004 21:57 GMT | 64 |
I promise to keep this brief. Here are the facts. I was estranged from my family for 13 years until last September. My father called and asked me to come see my mother ... no explanation as to why. I drove the 60 miles only to discover my mother has AD and hasn't a clue

| Can Aricept CAUSE dementia /? | 10 Mar 2004 16:26 GMT | 42 |
I'm not demented but my mother is. It seems that when she does NOT take the aricept, life's good. One pill though and she sees GW marching through her walls chasing after that fictional character Bin what's-his-name. I repeat .. no dementia on my part (though it may seem so)

| Prayer list | 09 Mar 2004 23:40 GMT | 12 |
I would like to create a prayer list here. All of us who are caring for someone with dementia or who has a loved one suffering from dementia knows how hard it is. The patient needs our prayers too. Some have asked for prayers on this NG but all of us need prayers.
