Snellen Clearing by Exercise and Snellen Reading?

Does Bates work?  Opinions vary.

Remarks on using Bates-type methods (Book,
advocacy and recommendations of Captain Fred Deakins).

From 20/220 to 20/40 in 8 weeks

"I have read your book and used the exercises contained in it and have
reduced my prescription by two diopters. I started out at 20/220. I am
hoping to be at 20/40 by the end of this year. I started exercising
heavily for about 2 months and then tapered off.

My eyes are still getting better though. I whole- heartedly endorse
your training program because it works!!!

I have been telling everybody at work about this, and they will be
shocked when I quit wearing glasses. I send all of my friends your web
page link."

Thank You,

RandyC. Toland,
