Re: Color toric contacts

Tinted disposable toric are hard to come by, you are pretty much limited to Fresh Look and they are not in your power. In non disposable there are some other, smaller speciality labs that have some limited colours available which may or may not be available where you live.
Your cyl is low so you may be able to tolerate sphere only. In that case you have FreshLook and Acuvue to choose from.
In any event, your doctor will know what is available and will have coloured trials to try in office so that you can choose the colour you want; between the companies you have several dozen colours available.

I've been wearing soft contacts for a while now (Coopervision "Preference") and would like to try a color lens. Unfortunately they're hard to find in my prescription... -7.50, 0.75 cyl.
The only toric lens with a high enough sphere that I found is Durasoft Optifit, but they're a hefty $200 a pair. What if I don't like the color? :) Perhaps I could get a non-toric Freshlook in a slightly higher power? They're 2-week disposables I believe and pretty cheap. Freshlook has torics also but they seem to only go up to 4.00 sphere power.
I'm going to ask my eye doc next week but I'd like to do some research first. Any suggestions are welcome; thanks.
