The surgeon had him do just that after the post surgory date had past. He
covered one eye each day for 20 minutes, during that time there was no pain,
however the pain after the patch came off was incredible. Do you recommend
any other tests that could be done, besides an MRI, and blood tests?

Does covering 1 eye, so only 1 eye is used, relieve all or most of the
symptoms? If so, the alignment sounds like the problem. If this does not
help, the problem is likely elsewehere, since using one eye does not involve
alignment of the eyes.

And, no, I have never seen such a severe problem that lasted so long.
Especially back pain - that is a puzzle.

Here is our story. My husband had strabismus surgery 15 weeks ago. He has had severe eye, frontal head, neck, and back pain. He had this surgery 2 times as a child. He cannot drive, look at the computer, and has not returned to work since the surgery. The surgeon suggests that an over correction may have occured. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone had any suggestions?
