PVP and TURP create a channel within the prostate. Neither procedure
stops the growth of the prostate, which will continue to grow. TURP is
most likely the more radical of the two procedures and cuts away the
most tissue. I had a PVP two years ago and I'm on Avodart to keep my
prostate from continuing to grow.

dr laub started me on it 2 months ago (1 a day for 7 days, then 1 a week).
flow started improving almost immediately. no side effects noted. pvp done
2 plus yrs ago.
