Re: Cloudy urine, clots, blood and scabs.

Derek,
Prior to pvp my uro told me much the same, though he did not mention the cloudy urine part. At the 1 month check-up he reminded me again to expect bleeding and some scabs. He said that he tells this to all his pvp patients now so that he does not get the frantic calls he used to get from his earlier patients.
I am now at 3 months and have had none of these symptoms despite some fairly strenuous exercise. I have my 4 month follow-up in a month so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say about this.
Dave.

Sorry for the sensational headline but cloudy urine, clots, blood and scabs all appear in Post PVP messages. Huw (Forlorn Hope) and I have been talking off group and have become puzzled at what to expect in the coming weeks. Speaking to my Uro on the phone on Friday I commented that my urine had been sparkling clear from day three. He said that it would become cloudy before the scab starts to break off and to expect bleeding and clots in weeks two and three as scab breaks away. Does everyone follow the same route? Not many have mentioned cloudy urine, most seem to pass clots but not all seem to pass blood and some mention stringy bits which do not sound like scab, other pass raisin sized scabs. What is the norm??? As Hugh commented postings on the NG tend to be from people who encounter problems rather than ones who sail through it all. Derek.
