Janers,
pregabalin is it's generic name and it is a Pfizer drug used for treating neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy;  
as well it is used as an 'anti anxiety'  drug but  not widely used for that... it is something that was discovered that worked over time of prescribing it as a treatment for fibromyalgia that was very successful apparently...wishing you luck!
