Curves good... Well, Marie sure has hers!

Aren't we supposed to call that sort of thing voluptous and/or
Rubenesque anyway?

Well I am jumping right in here too. OK, not jumping. I have been married
also to a "wonderful man" for 38 yrs and he still is a gem for me. Since
having this boot brace on he is always willing to do things, he knows I
can't get to or actually unable to.  He has always been my rock and will
always be.

I am doing ok, with my finger healing well and only 1 more week with that
splint then only at bedtime. doc informed me I would have a curve.  GEE
didn't he NOTICE I got a lot of them LOL. Naw on my finger folks haha.  My
curves are my rolls on my belly up over my jeans or pants..hehehe but hey I
got them.  YEARS ago curves and big b..bs were the thing. NOW you are
suppose to look like you are going to die any minute of starvation, so I
guess I will keep MY curves how about you guys.

My rheumy will see me and I am holding on higher doses of medrol and will
see how that goes even with this inflammation in my leg and foot.  who
knows.

We are not doing much traveling but hope to see our dear friend soon in SC
or Tenn, not sure which in Aug and July.

other than that. Grand kids are good and so are the grown kids.   All is
well in janersville for now.  NOW to keep it that way

Like you, I have been married 36 yrs to a wonderful and understanding
man...and it has been fantastic to have him step up and take care of the
things that I can no longer do.  I don't have to feel guilty about him going
to the grocery store, or cleaning, or cooking, after he has worked all day
because he knows I held a full time job, kept the house spotless, meals
cooked and raised our child, etc etc etc....when I was no longer able to
work I still managed to keep everything else done, but has gotten to the
point that I just can't ...so he pitches in.  My son's girlfriend does what
she can when she is here on weekends so she keeps the back half of the house
in order.

One day at a time is the way I have learned to live and I still think that
is all anyone can do.

Same as me... here and coping best i can...
I did hire a cleaning girl and it has been a 'life saver' for me for sure!  I am lucky to be retired with a man of 34 years marriage that is all there for me.. and I know it! I'd say that says it all as we are living where we want to be as first choice during our 'golden years now' and all is very well!  
of course it is taken on a day to day basis but today? it is a good day!

My hugs to you all in this ng of ours... it too has been a huge help through the past several years with crises ongoing of their own volition .... nice to see others having the same problems and then finding out how they worked things out ... so let's just all keep talking and sharing our life stories as we live with our illnesses.... my 2 cents worth fwiw!

I know that summer sends many of us in different directions. So before
everyone leaves ... ... ...  how about a quick update?

We are in compliance with the city as of Friday morning. We still have the
final coat of paint to put on the porch but primer was enough to satisfy the
city.

I worked in the garden today and got many of my perennials and annuals
planted. I actually got some sun on my face and it looks a wee bit tanned.
That looks so odd for me. I did have my big western hat on but it still got
some sun somehow.

With the pressure from the city off of us it will take a little while for me
to catch up on every thing else that needs doing but at least the stress is
gone. My body still aches and I think time will fix that problem. The
neuralgia is still a factor and has not totally let up. I know without a
doubt that it is tied to a lymphnode in my neck. I wonder if they can just
remove a lymphnode. Would it cure the problem?

We are headed into hazy, hot and humid. Tonight (right now) it is 69F (about
20C)  degrees and 71% humidity. Spring weather in gone!
