Or you can just go to the weather place on the computer and check the temp
in both C and F saves the brain the trouble of figuring it out.  <g>

Then take away the number you first thought of...

Personally I find the basic formulae easiest:

F = (C*9/5) + 32

C = (F - 32) * 5/9

but everyone else's mileage will vary.  A good check of any method is
"numbers you know"; I suggest these:

C       F
0       32
100     212
-40     -40

Try this j.

From C to F

Double it You now have 10/5 ...-22=-44
Subtract 1/10of that from itself to get to 9/5 ...-44=4.4 = -39.6
Add 32 ==-7.6

You were almost there .

Good start here, I'm making tourtiere's (meat pies) and hopefully minced
meat tarts.
We've had the coldest winter yet this year and winter hasn't even started.

I hope that means we'll get an early spring.
Yeppers, the cold can cause pain; I've got Raynauds and the fingers sure
aren't happy these days.

I forget how to do this.
BJ's - 22 conversion to Fahrenheit
F = 32 + C * 9/5
I can't remember if we're supposed to ..hmm..I think minus 22 C is minus
7.6 Fahrenhait
I hope Santa is good to you cindy and there's lots of fun and happy times
and good foods <smile>
hugs

Cold down there, is it? I think it's cold where BJ lives as well. It sure
is a chilly start to winter here as well, but minus 22 is what I saw on
her weather map.
I do hope your eye will be better soon and have a Merry Christmas from me
to you and yours,
Hugs to you Cindy.

Thanks for posting BJ I appreciate it. I have been wondering about the
pred thing . I have for me been on relatively low dose 25 to 30 for
quite a while. It is getting smaller so I think I will just start
tapering down now. I can't handle that much pred.
I get the blephuritis often and little infections and inflammation so I
don't think it is serious.
I thank you J for the info that is exactly what we found and I have so
many things like that it made sense.
Thanks again BJ it was good to see you I hope you have a good Holiday I
know it is hard but you are loved and appreciated from all over the
planet (0:
love Cindy W.
We now have John's cousin coming for the Christmas weekend something new
every day. But it is Christmas it is about family

Hi Cindy,
Sorry, but I have not been around much lately. Don't feel up to reading or
typing replies. However I saw your post and thought I would answer this one.
I get bleeds like that when I am on high doses of pred. Even as little as
40mgs can do it. It worries my family when they see it. It slowly goes away
on it's own, but continues to happen until I reduce pred. I think pred can
weaken blood vessels, thus the bleeds. I am not saying that is what is
causing your problem, but it could be a possibility. Hope you have some
wonderful family time this Christmas. There is always an element of sadness
for those who are no longer with us, but joy in our blessings just the same.
Wishing everyone wellness over the holiday and a good year to come.

Last night I had a little bleed in left eye. like a burst vessel that
spread out. We looked it up and found a thing called episcleritis it is
Lupus related like an inflammation. showed a pic that looked just like
my eye. I called dr. first thing my eye specialist is out of town and no
one to see there for week they said call rheumy he called back also out
of office but said to up pred to 80mg Buzzing now
he said sounded like same thing we found. Take the pred until it is gone
if doesn't go call back
Anyone had this? just wondering
Thanks Cindy W.
