i have no doubt that these things can trigger problems.  It's apparent when
a front has gone through that i start having more allergy problems.  before
the front, i have more joint pain so i am sure it's a combination of the
pressure changes so common in the fall and the crud brought in on the wind.
not to mention, if you live in a humid climate, more rain therefore very
happy mold spore producers.

I'm wondering if it can be triggered by allergies - leaf mold or something.
I've always been very allergic to molds & had to stop walking in the park in
the fall because I'd get pleurisy or pneumonia or bronchitis & my allergist
once told me that allergies can cause arthritis or aggravate lupus.

Candi,
The cold and damp weather always make me hurt more than normal.  I hurt 24/7
all yr long but I am in far more pain in the Fall and winter!

I have a Lupus and Fibromyalgia DX.  So like you said with Lupus who knows.

Hugs,
sherry

Does anyone have worse joint pain in the fall? I've noticed it for the past
5 years - elbows screaming, knees start feeling floppy & then they start
hurting horribly. There's got to be some kind of connection; I don't believe
it can happen 5 years in a row & be coincidence. Of course, with lupus, the
docs are perplexed. Just wondered if anyone else experienced this.
