You can easily request a blood level for lead. Most labs either perform
the test or send it out. You really need to let your neurologist know
this ASAP. It could change his entire approach to your case.

"High levels of lead in the blood indicate lead poisoning. There are
five classes of lead poisoning, according to the United States Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These levels range from class
1 (no lead poisoning, or less than 10 µg/dL) to class 5 (a medical
emergency of at least 70 µg/dL)."

Do this SOON.

this seems the most suitable category so here we go. For the last 3 months i
have been having headaches everyday, feeling mentally
slow and really spaced out. I have had a MRI and a neurological exam with
everything looking normal except on this bit of paper i have the neurologist

cervical canal, for approximately 4mm...... I haven't had blood tests yet but
i plan to. Early 2004 i was rennovating a house everday for 3 weeks, everyday
i was removing old lead based paint (red lead) unaware of anydanger.... i had
no mask and was breathing in loads of this leadbased paint dust everyday for
3 weeks. I was only 15 at the time, im 16 now.... at the time i suffered no
symptoms except a weird taste in my mouth. Im assuming its unlikely that this
could of done something but its worth asking i guess.
