Yes, it is an exciting field, but it's still in its infancy. The most advanced development is by Benitec, http://www.benitec.com/TechSection/TechHepC.htm but the info is rather sparse.

Hi Group,
I watched NOVA on PBS over the weekend, and a segment on RNAi, which stands for RNA interference (RNA needs no explanation, right?) was of immense interest. RNA interference refers to an immune response at the intracellular level (how the infected cell can fight back), and the potential for therapies is amazing.
