And my towel had lots of hair after drying my head -- to the point that i'd shake it out before drying the rest of me. And I noticed having to clear the shower drain after a shower because of the hair matted on it. And I have short (about 2" long) hair. This is the first time I've ever had to do this. I ended up with 2 very thin spots on the top sides of my head (like where men's hair recedes) that could easily be covered up by styling.
BUT, no one else knew that my hair was thinning so badly. It totally wasn't visible. And the spots have totally regrown back in.
The funny thing is when I went on treatment a couple years later (first time didn't work, second time was the same drug (Intron/A) in combo with riba), I was prepared for this to happen again. Nope. No noticeable hair thinning/loss at all.
Wierd.

Horseshit!! Hair doesn't fall out in clumps from treatment with hepc tx drugs. It may thin from drying out and may grow straight, but it doesn't fall out in clumps like it does in cancer chemotherapy. Who's kidding who here? elmo let's be straight here /////////////// In tx for 12 weeks now with some thinning thank god I have very thick hair and barely noticeable. A friend of mine lost most of his hair in tx in clumps but returned completely and curly to top it off. Perfectly normal Puckertoe wrote: Hi everyone, My hair has been thinning pretty bad as of late. My hair has been thinning pretty bad as of late. (Past few months) I'm not really sure where the thinning is coming from. When tx started it triggered a serious case of psoriasis This includes my scalp. I'm not 100% sure P causes hair thinning or not.
