Thanks Jacquie for responding. I thought no one else was in my situation. I couldnt bear even the 5 mcgs . It is so wonderful to not walk around nauseous. I am having rouble with my dawn phenomen but my numbers during the day are great. I am now splitting my glumesta into two doses , two pills after breakfast and two after dinner. I will admit I am hungrier than when on it I guess that was the nausea,
I am done with it

One day last week I could stand the thought of being nauseous even one more day. I called the doctor and he said I could go off the byetta and increase the metformin by 500 mgs. instead of once a day to take it twice a day. I do have to be more careful about what I eat in terms of carbs, but it is worth it. I had lost thirty pounds , but gained twenty bafck so it was not working for that purpose.
It is a wonderful feeling to go a day without being nauseous.
Has anyone else experienced this.
That day I had just picked up two new boses of the byetta. I m having trouble in the morning with dp
