Abt. the SMD forum, a very few dentists here know abt. it. A more few
professionals search on the internet. It's not at all a routine here. I
wish to bring some awareness & have started taking steps in that
direction.
As for SMD, we'll definitely be in contact.
I understand you saying that I should go on to see what's available
here in India.
Well, I 'ld like to suggest you that you can get better quality
instruments & material from here at cheaper rates. Rest you decide!

Please bring your questions to this forum if you don't mind.  All the
regulars here check for messages on SMD between patients.  It is quick and
out thing for us.  We usually don't have time to go to a few outside
web-pages except for occasionally.  Your warm welcome is appreciated and
reciprocated.

Regarding software, please understand that I am well qualified to discuss
many of the products available in the USA, but have no idea what you can get
for use in India.  I suggest you check the advertisements in your journals
(both scientific journals and "throw-away" journals).  Contact every
software vendor you can find which have a product for use in India, and ask
for a demo disk.  they should all provide you with one.  Some will give you
a disk with the actual program on it that you can use for 30 days, then it
erases itself.  Some will give you a disk with video demonstration of
various screens.  I would be happy to help you decide how to choose among
these.

IN the USA, the common title for a dentist is Dr.  However, among friends,
it is first name .  Use Amatus for now.

I'm planning to start my own clinicin Pune,India. I have had a work
experience of abt. 14 months at  reknowned Dentist's clinic.
I'm very impressed by the usefullness of softwares in day to day
practice.
But, the one I'd seen had many unwanted features.I'ld like to know abt.
an easy to use software(of course, I'll be able to tell more after
scrutinising any/some of them).
Are there any online sources regarding availability of dental
softwares(atleast having a trial period offer!) ?
Any specific tips regarding patient satisfaction, cost cutting,
complications & their way-outs,etc. are most welcome.
Any online ce-credit courses?

differences.  Most of us here are in the USA, but enjoy discussing dentistry
with people outside the USA very much.

Can anybody please give me tips on variuos aspects of a private clinic
including its management, products, free softwares (to start with), any
