She may have developed a peripheral neuropathy resulting in neuropathic
gastroparesis.  Would suggest that she seek a referrals to both a
neurologist and a gastroenterologist.  Her problem will be difficult to
treat with outcomes that are likely going to be less than satisfactory.

I have a neighbor that suffers from Autoimmune Disorder.
Her doctors are not sure which of the autoimmune disorders
that it is but it's the most like Lupus Erythematosus.

She recently developed a unique disorder that may or may not
be related to the autoimmune disorder.

She drank a glass of water and quickly vomited it up.
The term for it might be "sudden attack vomiting".

One of her friends referred to it as "projectile
vomiting".

I asked her if she has acid reflux disease and she told
me that her doctor determined that she does NOT have
acid reflux disease.

This sudden attack vomiting does not happen everytime
she drinks a liquid but it does happen some of the time.
She now spends most of her time at home since it's
embarrassing when she does this when she is at someone's
home or at a restaurant.

What is the cause of this disorder and is it related
to autoimmune disorder?

Thanks in advance,
Jason
