Of these the one "life style" factor that is growing the most rapidly
into a bigger problem in this world is the excessive visceral
adiposity, which can only be addressed by eating less and becoming
hungrier.

According to the World Health Organization WHO and Harvard researchers 80
percent of premature heart disease can be prevent by life style changes such
as nutrition, weight control, exercise and not smoking. That might tell
something about the role of genetics in relation to life style factors.

Here is a slide about the relative importance of different risk factors.
Below is also a reference.

Hello,

I'm looking for a resource (review or other) which estimates how much
of the variation in measurements of CVD risk factors is genetically
determined, and which percentage could be accounted for by lifestyle.

Risk factors I'm especially interested in are the inflammation markers
such as oxLDL, IL6, C-reactive protein(, fibrinogen),...

All info is welcome!

Thanks a lot,
Tim
