The purpose here for confessing sins to one another if we are stricken by GOD with illness is so that our brethren would be better able to pray on our behalf concerning the healing of said illness."
Actually not, please consult the scripture above carefully again, the "confess one to another" is prefaced by "therefore" which is in reference to the previous line which says that sins may be forgiven. It refers to healing of both soul and body.
"In truth, this confession of sins to one another would **not** be so that GOD would forgive us our sins because HE has already forgiven us our sins with the sacrifice of HIS one and only begotten Son, LORD Jesus Christ."
In fact, actually, He made possible by His actions that we may be healed spiritually if we confess our sins, as scripture directs. Forgiveness follows confession of sins because of His sacrifice. We don't have a free ticket to sin with an automatic out without confession and repentance.
"If the Holy Spirit were guiding you, this misinterpretation of the Holy Bible by you would not have ever happened."
Again, it is not I who is the reference, it is the work of the Holy Spirit within the church with Christ as its head. There is no "life force energy", "chi" of bible interpretation and each of us is not the final authority as to its meaning. Such hubris is the seed of false doctrine, as such an abundant crop was recently sown and the plants failed accordingly, brought short by reference outside of vain self reference.
That we may guard against private interpretation and the seeds of false doctrine it sows, let us consult a spiritual advisor that we may avoid the error of self reference. Your prayers on my behalf sought as always, God's blessing and protection and peace unto you, God forgive me a sinner.
