(not sure I'm doing the math right) No, you are NOT doing the math right. 25C is 80F ! I don't do the math, I use a dual thermometer and just look! I have many friends in Europe I am looking many times.

What I'm getting is the coast is cooler? 72 a heatwave? We're in a heatware 22 degrees C = 97F? (5 am) Going up to 27C today (feels like 33 with the humidity) = 117? (not sure I'm doing the math right) Hot and sunny tumorrow, then 5 days of some sun and mostly showers. I like when it's warm/hot. Tornadoes ripped through part of our Province yesterday. I don't have the full report but saw one tornado barrelling through a house - it was totalled but she saved herself and one cat. Other cat unknown as of last night. J - with the weather report. :)

When I was diagnosed in 2003, I read on the net that 5 yr Dx was the normal period for cancer patients to wait for the "Its gone" pronouncement, and for SCLC it's 6 yr. because it is an aggressive type of cancer. 5 yr of NED also sounds reasonable, too. What ever the number, it is great to have ANY NED report. In my mind I am celebrating Both numbers now. I'll get my next scan at about the 5 yr, NED mark.
Still sleeping with one eye open so it can't sneak up on me. :=)
The trip down the coast was not productive as far as photos were concerned. It was extremely foggy Tuesday with the fog rolling over the highway. It gave the illusion that we were driving in a tunnel through the fog. The road heat and cars moving through the fog creates this affect. It's a neat visual, but not good for photographs. The coast was largely obscured. That's not unusual for this coast. The Central coast is in the fog belt. Our house seems to be overcast 2/3 of the time. It's only 1/2 crow mile from the beach. Go 5 miles inland and it could be 100+ degrees in the summer and 60 at the coast. Oh, well I *could* be in Phoenix. 103 at 1:30 am (I've seen it do that.)
We are going to have a 2 day heat wave this weekend. Predicted high 72 degrees http://www.ksbw.com/weather/18647202/media.html?qs=;longname=7%20Day;shor tname=7Day;days=&ib_wxwidget=true#HEARSTWX=http%3A//www.ksbw.com/weather/ 811979/media.html%3Fqs%3D%3Bref%3D/weather/18647202/media.html%3Blongname %3D7%2520Day

After the June Gloom I will try to get some pics. I have many on my hard drive. I may put some on the web one of these days. I'll report when I do.
All possible love to all,

You're either almost there, or past---good either way. Going from a dx of sclc to "all clear" must feel wonderful. Staying on the "all clear" for years should keep the smile on your face.

6 years, 3 weeks, 2 days ago, I was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer. Today I got the "Still Clear" from my Oncologist. It's now been 4 1/2 years of NED reports. Next check in 6 months.
Life Is Good. Tomorrow Barb and I are going down the coast to visit some friends who live off the grid in Big Sur. I'll take some photos and post them on the web.
