Re: Newsgroup for Alzheimer's

Knowing as little as I do about computer programs, I'd be of no use, but a problem people seem to be having has to do with their settings on the reader for receiving the messages. I don't know for sure except that I've had no problem whatsoever once I signed up first for motzarella and then in migrating to eternal-september; I just followed the instructions I had. I can only recommend it, I can't help configure.

Then you may need to describe on their internal newsgroups how you have Outlook Express set up to get that level of reliability . What I've seen in other newsgroups says that newsreaders from Microsoft don't connect to their servers very well.

Visit eternal-september.org website for free newsgroup access. (They are the new website for motzarella.org). When Time-Warner dropped Usenet last year I got a Motzarella account and have had perfect, uninterrupted service since. Plus it works with my newsread (Outlook Express) so, unlike google, I can filter senders/spammers.
