Hi Jim,

I apologize if you already know how to do this but I'm going
to go step by step for OE which you are using.
You will need a password from Motzarella.

Go up to the tools button.> then click accounts
On the right click add>News
Fill out the screens>When you get to news server fill in
"news.eternal-september.org" no quotes and check the box below
that asks if you need to log on
Then fill in the account name and password you got from
Motzarella and it should ask you if you want to download
newsgroups>click yes.
Then click on the news server (news.eternal-september.org)
>click on Newsgroups and type the groups you want to subscribe
to in the box> click on the group when it comes up and
then>click subscribe on the right. That should get you there.

A hint: If you highlight text and then hit the ctrl and c keys
together you will copy the text.
Then place your cursor where you want the text and hit the
ctrl and v keys together. That will paste the text.

You can also follow and post from Google. I believe you need
an account to post in the groups.

You might also want to check out
http://www.dasninternational.org/ which is for those with
dementia. You might find other support there.

Post back if you need more help getting Outlook Express to add
the new server.

Visit eternal-september.org website for free newsgroup access.  (They are
the new website for motzarella.org).  When Time-Warner dropped Usenet last
year I got a Motzarella account and have had perfect, uninterrupted service
since.  Plus it works with my newsread (Outlook Express) so, unlike google,
I can filter senders/spammers.

here's the link: eternal-september.org
