the website should pretty much explain it. I think you have to wait for some kind of confirmation fromm them first, but I don't remember -- if so, it's pretty quick -- a couple days max.
In a nutshell: add the server to the newsreader you are using -- you will be adding a new server to your internet software which has nothing to do with your ISP (except that being how you reeive the internet).
In Outlook Express [which is what I use] it involves the Tools/Accounts/News menu(s).
The website gives you the setting names and instructions. Then download the newsgroups from that server and subscribe to the ones you want (include motzarella.supoprt so that you can follow any issues on the server) and have fun.

When Time-Warner dropped Usenet last year I got a Motzarella account and have had perfect, uninterrupted service since. Plus it works with my newsread (Outlook Express) so, unlike google, I can filter senders/spammers.
