the website should pretty much explain it.  I think you have to wait for
some kind of confirmation fromm them first, but I don't remember -- if so,
it's pretty quick -- a couple days max.

In a nutshell: add the server to the newsreader you are using -- you will be
adding a new server to your internet software which has nothing to do with
your ISP (except that being how you reeive the internet).

In Outlook Express [which is what I use] it involves the Tools/Accounts/News
menu(s).

The website gives you the setting names and instructions.  Then download the
newsgroups from  that server and subscribe to the ones you want (include
motzarella.supoprt so that you can follow any issues on the server) and have
fun.

Visit eternal-september.org website for free newsgroup access.  (They are
the new website for motzarella.org).  When Time-Warner dropped Usenet last
year I got a Motzarella account and have had perfect, uninterrupted service
since.  Plus it works with my newsread (Outlook Express) so, unlike google,
I can filter senders/spammers.

here's the link: eternal-september.org
