I believe I posted a long list of suggestions on bellsouth.net's internal
newsgroup about a week ago.  Probably not accessible from outside
bellsouth.net, though.  This is one of the better ones for people who
are short of money:

By the way, are you aware of this method of putting your computer
to work helping Alzheimer's research?

Rather memory-hungry - it's recommended that you have at least
0.5 GB for the operating system plus 0.5 GB for each CPU core
you allow this project to use.  In most locations and with most
computers, the extra electricity needed for the computer is less
than 50 cents (US) a day, and in most locations, the extra electricity
needed if you're running an air conditioner is less than $2 (US) a
day.

Since Bellsouth news group that I belong to, is discontinuing "newsgroups"
how else can I continue to receive information within this group.  I am an
Alzheimers' patient.
