Or, you could suggest preventive alternatives -- and ALLOW THE PARENTS

But you are never, never going to do that, as majority-opinion OD.

Last I knew ... until your cataract surgery ... you'd reached at least
seven diopters of myopia.
Doesn't sound too promising.
Keep trying, though. I wouldn't want to discourage you.
