Every time you see a posting made by the laymen Otis keep in mind he is
hurting people, not helping.

He is trying to sell you a useless book about how to avoid myopia even
if it isn't there and not ever shall be.

He (Otis), never ever has giving straight and direct answers on very
simple questions asked by the real eyecare professionals in this newsgroup.

He is definitely a quackery person.

Several times you see new posting from this horrible man because he has
to if a thread becomes to hot under his feet (pardon me for this Dutch
language)

He never show real scientifically reports, the only thing he produce is
old stuff most time full of not controllable anecdotes.

Men live by their routines; and when these are called into question,
they lose all power of normal judgment.
They will listen to nothing save the echo of their own voices; all
else becomes dangerous thoughts.

Quoting smart people doesn't make you one of them.

Your arguments have to stand on their own merits.

But they don't.

You're a liar and an idiot ... no matter who you quote, and how often.

Then again, you could realize that often when Otis quotes someone, the
arguments apply more to him than to those he doesn't agree with.  Otis
may think that what Laski says applies to others, but it applies much
more to him.

New ideas are always criticized - not because an idea lacks
merit, but because it might turn out to be workable, which would
threaten the reputations of many people whose opinions conflict
with it.  Some people may even lose their jobs.

So, when are you going to abandon your old ideas?
