While the majority-opinion maintains that preventing a negative STATE
for the fundamental eye is IMPOSSIBLE, there are other highly
qualified ophthalmologists who support plus-prevention as the second-
opinion.

Here is the video of that advocacy.

and here is a highly qualifed MEDICAL DOCTOR and Ph.D. who sees the
wisdom in true-prevention.

Yeah, but what about eyes that are not fundamental?

By the way .... this person seems to understand the difference between
accommodative and axial-length myopia -- something that you either a)
denied existed, b) didn't understand, or c) both.

And yet ... by referencing this person's site ... you now seem to
endorse the (well-established) concept.

Just when one might believe you've reached the apotheosis of
idiocy ... you find a way to outdo yourself :-)

He sounds just like you, Otis!

He also whines a lot, like Bates ("nobody listens to me!")

The Finnish Journal of Medicine won't publish his comments because...

(Please select one of the following:)

a) The great myopia conspiracy
b) He contradicts Parssinen
c) The editors have a personal vendetta
d) His comments offer no new data or meta-analysis

(Checking....)
Yes, I just checked and HYPEROPES STILL ACCOMMODATE MORE THAN MYOPES.

Why is it not reaoable to expecgt that multiple genes can affect
suxceptibility for myopia and other eye problems. I can bicture mixing
of these genes resulting in multiple subpopulations of humans with
different degrees of responding to close work.

There certainly is a strong correlation between identical twins and the
incidence of scizophrenia. Nevertheless, it appears that DNA is not
everything. Neither is environment,

Note that there is a strong correlatioon of people in the same family
speaking a common language.

I certainly am not aware of all these factors having been teased out
statiscally with respect to myopia.
